Nexus is a partnership between the City of Melbourne, Nanjing Pukou High Tech Park and ACASE with support from Runway and State Government of Victoria. Nexus supports all Victorian and wider Australian start-ups and scale-ups to commercialise its research capability, launch and expand into the Chinese market.  

The Nexus ‘Future City’ pitch competition will consist of two business categories that hold high-tech solutions, start-ups, and scale-ups/mature businesses, in AgTech, BioTech, FoodTech, HealthTech, SportsTech, renewable energy, new materials, ICT and big data, etc.

• Cash prizes of AUD $1,000 -$5,000
• All winners will have a ccess to pre -selection for the Nanjing-based K-Pouch International accelerator program* with potential upgrade packaging available (e.g, Maximum $200,000 support, Bespoke finance and policy support, Asia Launch accelerator service on successful signing).
• First prize winners for both categories  also receive a consulting service package and a five-day curated business trip to Nanjing, China to the value of  $ AUD10,000 **.
